Mentoring Committee
Drs. Jay Mussell and Amy Creel
The SOM Mentoring Committee continues to provide resources and opportunities for formal and informal mentoring. Under the leadership of Dr. Jay Mussell and Dr. Amy Creel and in collaboration with the Faculty Development and Evaluation Committee, the committee hosted its biannual Speed Mentoring event on April 23, 2025 over Zoom. The successful event, with participants across several campuses and backgrounds, supported new connections among faculty, sharing ideas, and receiving advice on building research and teaching portfolios and preparing for advancement.
Stay tuned for a faculty “Mentoring Needs Assessment” coming to your inbox soon. The committee needs your input into how to best support your success!
