Otolaryngology
Dr. Phillip Allen is the principal investigator on Expanded Access Treatment Protocol: Remdesivir (RDV; GS-5734) for the Treatment of SARS-CoV2 (CoV) Infection at Our Lady of the Lake RMC. Remdesivir looks like a promising drug in the treatment of COVID-19. OLOL was selected to participate in this expanded access protocol.
Drs. Erbele and Nuss created the "LSU ENT COVID-19 Resource Library," available at https://lsuh.sc/msentcovid. This resource is intended to help otolaryngologists stay current with the rapidly emerging body of literature on COVID-19 in order to provide the very best care possible, and to protect our patients, our staff, and each other from harm. The library offers the most up-to-date literature guiding otolaryngology colleagues' actions.
