In November 2025, Dr. Matt Foy presented a follow-up to the initial experiences with implementing global evaluations for medical students in their clerkships and discussed educational alignment between the evaluation form, clinical teaching and the educational program objectives with a focus on actional feedback.

In January, we turned an eye to our future, starting the new year with a series titled Future Ready: Designing a Life and Legacy that Lasts. Dr. Chip Roth explored the critical link between professional identity and personal fulfillment, offering practical concepts to maintain a rewarding and sustainable career in medicine in a workshop titled “Maintaining Career (and Life) Fulfillment.”

In the next session, titled “Succession Planning: Intentional Preparation for Leadership Transitions,” Drs. Michelle Moore, Sonya Van Nuland and Lee Engel explored transition models and had participants reflect on past experiences in small groups. Participants left with the materials necessary to design a deliberate, effective strategy for their next professional chapter.

The series continues on May 26th at 4 p.m. when visiting professor Dr. Michael Dell presents a workshop on identity, values, and transitions titled, “Does this Hat Still Fit?”. Save the date!
