Dr. Leslie Sisco Wise Elected to Second Vice-President of the Louisiana Orthopaedic Association

Dr. Leslie Sisco Wise was elected to Second Vice-President of the Louisiana Orthopaedic Association at the Annual Business Meeting on Thursday, March 18, 2021. 

Dr. Sisco-Wise serves as the Section Head of Hand Surgery for the Ochsner Health System. She is also the Director of Hand Center for Ochsner Baptist Hospital in New Orleans.  

 

Dr. Sisco-Wise is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with certificate of added qualification in surgery of the hand. She is also a consultant for the New Orleans Pelicans. 

She graduated from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans and completed her orthopaedic residency at LSU Health Science Center in New Orleans.  She then completed a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at the University of California in San Francisco.  She is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.

Dr. Sisco-Wise and her husband, Dr. Whit Wise, have three children: Alton, Evans and Eleanor.
