Biostatistical Support

READ Center

The School of Public Health's Research, Evaluation, Analysis & Design Center provides comprehensive services to support research and community health initiatives in Population Health. These services are available to both internal and external researchers for a fee.

Biostatistical Support for Resident and Fellow Research

Biostatistical support for residents' or fellows' research projects can be requested by contacting Dr. Wayne L. Backes at SOM Research. This service is limited to up to 10 hours of biostatistical support.

LACaTS Biostatistics Support

The LACaTS Biostatistics and Epidemiology Core helps support investigators with statistical design and data analysis of research projects. This Core primarily works with early-career investigators who require statistical assistance for projects, which are necessary for grant preparation and submission, or for publication of their research data in peer-reviewed journals.

Independent Faculty Research

Additional biostatistical support is available through the School of Public Health School of Public Health Consultation Services. Prior to consultation, a funding mechanism needs to be identified.
