LSU Orthopedic Residents Win Multiple Distinctions at OREF Symposium
We are extremely proud to announce that on October 27, three of our residentspresented at the OREF Southeast Region Resident Research Symposium. Twelve projects were selected from institutions such as Duke, Vanderbilt, and Emery but LSU had the most selected projects and wins out of any school in attendance!
Scott Barnett won Third Place for his presentation Comparison of Short-leg and Long-leg Casts for the Treatment of Distal Third Tibial Shaft Fractures in Children
Corinne Cloud tied for Presenters Choice Award for her presentation Advantages of an Orthopedic Trauma Room for Diaphyseal Femur Fractures
Patrik Suwak tied for Presenters Choice Award for his presentation Assessing Vertebral Body Rotation in Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery
