Bioinformatics and Computational Medicine Program

Admission Requirements

You must have a GPA of at least 3.0 for both undergraduate and graduate work, based on a 4-point scale. You must have obtained a baccalaureate degree from a college or university approved by a regional accrediting agency and have been in satisfactory standing at the most recent educational institution attended. 

All programs require the following: Official Transcripts, Official Report of GRE Scores, Academic Statement, 2 Letters of Recommendation, and TOEFL scores (for international applicants). Our GRE code is 6600. Our TOEFL code is B886

The LSU Health Sciences Center at New Orleans is participating in the GradCAS Centralized Application Service (GradCAS) in the 2019-2020 application cycle. Requirements for the Degree

 

Graduation Fees  

Fees for graduation are normally assessed at registration for the semester in which the student intends to graduate.

The fee for a duplicate diploma is $30. This fee is also assessed when a diploma is ordered and the student does not graduate as scheduled.
A fee of $20 is charged to cover the cost of thesis or dissertation binding.
