Conference Objectives
After participating in this activity, learners will be able to:
- Integrate the latest evidence-based guidelines and emerging therapeutic strategies into clinical management of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) patients
- Improve understanding of IBD pathophysiology, including genetic, immunological, and microbial factors and apply novel diagnostic techniques for more accurate and earlier IBD detection
- Identify key opportunities for fostering multidisciplinary collaboration within IBD care teams (e.g., gastroenterologists, surgeons, dietitians, psychologists)
- Describe the basic principles of ultrasound physics as they apply to intestinal imaging.
- Explain the role of IUS in monitoring disease activity and response to therapy.
- Integrate IUS findings into clinical decision-making for IBD patients.
