Year at a Glance

First - and second-year fellows follow a block clinical schedule that consists of five half-day clinic sessions per week at one of our two clinical sites:

• Manning Family Children’s Pediatric Allergy and Immunology Clinic
• University Medical Center Adult Allergy and Immunology Clinic

Fellows participate in other attending-led clinics:

• Adult Procedure Clinic
• Pediatric Multidisciplinary Eosinophilic Esophagitis Clinic
• Pediatric Multidisciplinary Severe Asthma Clinic
• Pediatric Oral Challenge Clinic

Clinical responsibilities are combined with dedicated time for educational activities and scholarly/research activities.
Inpatient call responsibilities are evenly distributed between first - and second-year fellows. During the week, two fellows divide coverage of the pediatric and adult consult services, while on the weekend, one fellow provides coverage for both consult services.
