Welcome to LSU HSC New Orleans Geriatric Medicine Fellowship! Thank you for your interest in our program. We offer an individualized robust curriculum in clinical geriatrics, didactic content, medical education and research training. Our program is invested in your education, and we engage fellows as adult learners throughout their training to strengthen our program.

LSU HSC partners with LCMC, that provides our main teaching site at University Medical Center of New Orleans (UMCNO), for our ACGME Geriatrics Fellowships program.  UMCNO is Southern Louisiana’s largest safety net hospital with the unwavering mission to provide care for all patients

A one-year ACGME-accredited clinical fellowship in Geriatric Medicine is available to Family Medicine and Internal Medicine residents who have satisfactorily completed their residency and are board eligible in their specialty of Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. Two positions are available each year.
