Vascular Surgery Fellowship
Thank you for your interest in the Vascular Surgery Training Program at LSU. We offer
a two-year traditional fellowship with the mission of training competent, well-prepared
vascular surgeons to meet the growing demands of our population. Clinical training
at LSU is rigorous and includes a high volume of both open and endovascular cases.
Despite the high-volume clinical exposure, our fellows actively participate in research
projects. Our training also provides a unique opportunity to gain experience in both academic
and private practice settings. This exposure allows our graduates to understand how
different vascular surgical practices operate, which has helped them secure a wide
range of positions in both academic and private sectors.
