S.I.G. Members have a number of opportunities to individually attend departmental grand rounds and conferences.

The department of surgery hosts regular grand rounds on Thursdays from 5-6pm in the Delgado Amphitheater at Charity Hospital.  The department also hosts morbidity and mortality conferences.  For the latest information about these meetings contact the department at (504) 568-4750 or Jaime Rodriguez, MD at 568-7654

The LSU Tumor Board meets weekly on Fridays at noon in the surgery educational classroom in the department of surgery, 7th floor, 1542 Tulane Ave.  Students are welcome and free lunch is served.  For additional information contact tumor board chairman Dr. Eugene Woltering of the department of surgery at: 568-2344 or ewolte@lsuhsc.edu
