Students for a National Health Program (SNaHP)

Students for a National Health Program, or SNaHP, is the student arm of Physicians for a National Health Program (PNHP). PHNP is a single issue organization advocating a universal, comprehensive single-payer national health program. We believe that a single publicly funded, privately delivered universal health care system is necessary for us to provide high quality care to all our patients, and that accessible, quality healthcare is a basic human right. SNaHP at LSUHSC-NO is dedicated to promoting Improved Medicare for All via education, advocacy, and base-building within our school, city, state, and beyond. We are future health professionals in all disciplines, as this organization is not limited to medical students. Please contact any of our executive board members for questions about SNaHP or ways to get involved.
