Please contact aehousing@lsuhsc.edu to inquire about housing.
Visiting Affiliate's Housing Eligibility:
Visiting affiliates (i.e. post-doc fellows and visiting students), with a letter from
their department confirming their appointment – provided the affiliate is here for training or educational purposes ‘only’ – will be allowed on-campus housing if it is available.
Applications for on-campus housing can be submitted by accessing https://lsuhsc.twa.rentmanager.com/ .
Be advised that submission of a housing applications ‘does not’ guarantee on-campus
housing. Housing applications are received in chronological order and on-campus housing
is extremely limited.
Regarding payment; it is important that visiting students know whether their sponsoring
department pays for their on-campus housing or whether they are self-pay. Self-pay
applicants should e-mail aehousing@lsuhsc.edu for the self-pay protocol.
It is imperative that affiliates have an LSUHSC-NO identification card before moving
into Student Housing. Access to the residence halls and the rooms within cannot be
accessed without an LSUHSC-NO ID card. Student Housing does not issue LSUHSC-NO ID cards.
Only the registrar's office or the department responsible for visiting affiliates
can facilitate the process for receiving an LSUHSC-NO ID card. Contact Sheri Russell,
sruss2@lsuhsc.edu to arrange for an ID card.
Once a housing application has been received into the Student Housing database, the
Student Housing Coordinator will contact the applicant via e-mail or telephone within
a few days with pertinent housing information.
The Student Housing administrative office is closed every weekend and all university
holidays.
