Allergy/Immunology Fellowship

Our division offers an accredited 2-year training program with positions available for 1-2 fellows each year. The program provides training and experience to prepare the participant for a career in Allergy/Immunology and certification by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. The program has been ACGME certified since ­1992.

Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship

Our program offers an accredited three-year training program with positions available to 2 fellows per year.

We are the only Pediatric Cardiology training program in Louisiana.  Our division provides care for patients across Louisiana and the Gulf Coast community from fetal life into adulthood.

Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship

Our program offers an accredited three-year training program with positions available to 2 fellows per year.

The Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) Fellowship at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center and Children’s Hospital New Orleans is dedicated to providing outstanding training to the next generation of pediatric emergency medicine physicians. We are the first and only PEM fellowship in the state of Louisiana.

Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship

Our division offers an accredited 3-year training program with positions available for 1 fellow each year. The program provides training and experience to prepare the participant for a career in Pediatric Endocrinology and certification by the American Board of Pediatrics Subboard of Pediatric Endocrinology. The program has been ACGME certified since 1999.

Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellowship

Our division offers an accredited 3-year training program with positions available for 1 fellow each year. The program provides training and experience to prepare the participant for a career in Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition and certification by the American Board of Pediatrics Subboard of Pediatric Gastroenterology. The program has been ACGME certified since 1995. 

Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Fellowship

The Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans is thrilled to offer Louisiana's only Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Fellowship and combined Medicine-Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Fellowship. Our division offers an accredited 3-year training program with positions available to 1-2 fellows per year.

Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship

The Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans is thrilled to offer Louisiana's first and only Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship Program. This ACGME-accredited two-year fellowship aligns its training requirements and curriculum with that developed by leaders in the field of Pediatric Hospital Medicine. Fellows will gain additional clinical experience with a team of supportive faculty, residents, and staff.

Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship

Our division offers an accredited three-year training program, with positions available for two fellows each year. The program provides training and experience to prepare the participant for a career in Neonatology and certification by the American Board of Pediatrics Sub-board of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. The program has been ACGME accredited since 1990. 

Pediatric Nephrology

Our division offers an accredited 3-year training program with positions available for 3 fellows.  The program provides training and experience to prepare the participant for a career in Pediatric Nephrology and certification by the American Board of Pediatrics, Subboard Pediatric Nephrology. The program has been ACGME certified since ­2008.
