LSUHSC Otolaryngology Faculty at CAGLA 2025
On March 29th, 2025, the LSUHSC Department of Otolaryngology faculty presented at the Cancer Advisory Group of LA (CAGLA) Conference held on LSUHSC’s campus in New Orleans.
Dr. Rohan Walvekar chaired and moderated the Head and Neck Cancer Section to ensure a productive session.
Dr. Rula Mualla delivered an insightful presentation on the "Challenges in Early Detection of Head & Neck Cancers.”
Dr. Sagar Kansara shared his expertise on "Immunology in Head Neck Cancers.”
Dr. Katie Melder presented on the "Nuances of Cancer Treatment in the Skull Base & Sinonasal Cavity.”.
The conference was a platform for sharing knowledge and fostering collaboration among experts in the field, with LSUHSC faculty playing an important role in advancing the understanding and treatment of head and neck cancers in the region.
