Nephrology and Hypertension Fellowship
The LSU Nephrology & Hypertension Fellowship training program’s educational mission is to train outstanding clinical nephrologists and to provide opportunities for fellows to develop as, scholars, teachers, and leaders. Fellows obtain extensive experience in all realms of kidney disorders while rotating in incredible inpatient and outpatient settings.

Our Nephrology Fellowship maintains full accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). The program is two years in length and we provide training for 6 total fellows.
Our faculty are recognized regionally, nationally, and internationally for their educational and research excellence. Our fellows have transitioned into careers in private practice, academic practice, as well as positions of leadership.
The program allows fellows to gain skills in inpatient and outpatient settings in an academic environment.
