Bio
After finishing fellowship, I began my career at LSUHSC New Orleans, joined as Nephrology
Faculty within the Department of Medicine in 2015. Since that time, I have trained
in Interventional Nephrology and am now the Medical Director of the Interventional
Nephrology program at Ochsner Baptist Medical Center. I have been the Training Program
Director for the Nephrology Fellowship since 2020 and teach at LSU on the medical
school, residency and fellowship level. I have been involved in our section's clinical
trials and have participated in research within the areas of: Hypertension, obesity,
anemia and urgent start peritoneal dialysis. Other areas of interest include: Nutrition,
dialysis access issues and home dialysis modalities.
