HemOnc Fellowship

Thank you for visiting the LSU HemOnc Fellowship Program. We offer a three-year ACGME-accredited fellowship which allows for board eligibility in both Hematology and Medical Oncology. The program's focus is excellence in clinic training and ensuring that Fellows are able to practice with a substantial level of independence. In addition to an active clinical practice, Fellows will have the opportunity to participate in clinical and basic science research.

We offer electives in hematopathology, blood banking, radiation oncology, among many others with the stem cell transplant rotation taking place at the Tulane Medical Center. Fellow education is provided through weekly didactic conferences, journal club, Medicine Grand Rounds, research conferences in the Stanley S. Scott Cancer Center and several multidisciplinary tumor conferences at University Medical Center.

Group portrait of 11 healthcare and research professionals in a conference room. Five people are seated in the front row and six are standing behind them. Several individuals wear white medical lab coats, while others wear business or professional attire. Large floor-to-ceiling windows behind the group reveal a cityscape with office buildings. The group faces the camera around a conference table in a bright, well-lit office setting.
