Gold Humanism Honor Society
The Gold Humanism Honor Society (GHHS) is dedicated to recognizing, supporting, and
promoting the values of humanism, compassion, and professionalism in medicine. The
society seeks to foster these principles within and beyond medical education by inspiring
and sustaining physicians who are committed to patient-centered, compassionate care.
GHHS honors student, resident, and attending physicians who exemplify these qualities
and are recognized by their peers as the kind of physician they would trust to care
for their own loved ones— a true “Doctor’s Doctor.”
