The Family Medicine Interest Group (FMIG) brings together family practice physicians, academics, residents, and interested students to share insights on the lifestyle, joys, and challenges of Family Medicine as it stands today.

FMIG is for anyone interested in learning more about the practice of family medicine. We strive to inform students about the opportunities associated with a career in family medicine and to keep them informed about current issues faced by the specialty. Through guest lectures and small procedure demonstrations such as suture and joint injection clinics, our meetings allow students to interact with guest speakers associated with the field of family medicine, including practicing physicians, residents, and educators.
