Bio
Upon her return to Louisiana in 1993, Dr. Sartor took a position at the LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport. Over the following 5 years, she worked to establish and direct the Center for Reproductive Health and was named Chief of the Section of Reproductive Endocrinology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The Center for Reproductive Health was the product of a public-private (LSU-Willis-Knighten) partnership and culminated in the first successful IVF program in North Louisiana. Upon her return to New Orleans, she took a position with the Fertility Institute of Medicine and accepted a teaching appointment with the LSU Department of Ob/Gyn, assisting with REI residency education. In 2017, she assumed the position of Chief of the section. She is an author and co-author of 22 peer reveiwed manuscripts and chapters and has served as a guest lecturer at many meetings and seminars. Dr. Sartor's interests include the assisted reproductive technologies, polycystic ovarian syndrome and fertility preservation.
