The goal of the Simulation Expo 2024 is to bring together simulation novice-expert educators and simulation specialists, as well as vendors from all areas. This event hopes to provide professional development and opportunities for collaboration on simulation program development statewide. The Planning Committee of the SMTEC-LA is very excited to provide a venue for networking among simulation educator professionals throughout Louisiana.

Sim Exhibitors and Statewide Sim Experts will be showcased.

Registration is FREE! Register by March 19.

REGISTRATION FORM


To receive full contact hours credit for continuing education (nursing or physician), the participant must attend the workshop in its entirety and complete and submit a post-program evaluation. No partial CE credit can be awarded.

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

The Simulation Expo Planning Committee from the Simulation Training and Education Council Louisiana (SMTEC-LA) invites simulation educators, simulation operations specialist, program coordinators and researchers to present their scholarship at the 2024 Simulation Expo.

Simulation research, quality improvement projects or other scholarly works are welcome. Abstracts from all health professions disciplines are welcome and we strongly encourage you to submit.  Podium and poster abstract will be reviewed by expo committee.

Simulation Expo 2024 – Friday, April 19,2024 – Exhibit Opportunity

Hello,

We are reaching out to you to announce the upcoming Simulation Expo 2024 to be held on Friday, April 19, 2024, at the LSU Health New Orleans – Human Development Center (411 Prieur St, New Orleans, LA).

The Simulation Expo 2024 conference will begin at 7:30 am and end at 3:30pm. There are also several breaks built into the agenda to allow attendees to visit the exhibits. The agenda, exhibit agreement and registration information is available by visiting the Expo website. To get the exhibitor contract, please scroll down to the bottom of the webpage.

The fee for the exhibit is $750 and includes 2 attendees. We ask that you limit attendees to two due to limited space.

To confirm your spot, we will require a completed agreement and payment. Please email (cme@lsuhsc.edu) or fax (504-599-1453) the completed and signed agreement form. You can pay for the exhibit space via credit card through the Eventbrite link on the Expo website. If you wish to pay by check, make check payable to “LSU School of Medicine New Orleans - OME” and mail to LSU School of Medicine – Office of Medical Education, Attn: Simulation Expo 2024, 2020 Gravier Street, Suite 602, New Orleans, LA 70112.
