Christina Borgan, PsyD
Christina Borgan, PsyD (she/her/ella) ) is a licensed Pediatric Psychologist at Children’s Hospital New
Orleans. She received her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Albizu University.
She completed her internship training at Primary Children’s Hospital and fellowship
training at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Dr. Borgan’s clinical interests include consultation/liaison, hematology/oncology,
bone marrow transplant, neurology, and anxiety related disorders. In addition to targeted,
empirically supported interventions that address emotional and behavioral concerns,
supportive care is provided—particularly for patients and families with difficulties
adjusting to diagnosis, treatment, relapse/recurrence, and/or end of life. Dr. Borgan
works closely with members of the medical and psychosocial teams to ensure that each
patient receives the most effective and efficient multidisciplinary care. Dr. Borgan
is passionate about working with adolescent and young adult populations as well as
culturally diverse Limited English Proficient speaking families, as she is a is a
bilingual Spanish speaking provider. She is an active member of Society of Pediatric
Psychology and Children’s Oncology Group.
