Bio
Dr. Elyse Bevier-Rawls is a native of the greater New Orleans area. She received her
medical degree and completed her general surgery residency at Louisiana State University
Health Science Center in New Orleans. She went on to complete her colon and rectal
fellowship with Georgia Colon and Rectal Surgical Associates in Atlanta, GA. She currently
an Associate Professor of Clinical Surgery and Associate Program director at LSU General
Surgery. Dr. Bevier-Rawls returned to her hometown to serve the community in all aspects
of colorectal surgery with special interests in robotics and minimally invasive surgery.
