Bio
Dr. Kuebler practiced Emergency Medicine early in his medical career founding, developing,
and operating emergency services companies, Medical Services, Inc. and TRAM, Inc.
which provided emergency department physician services at numerous hospitals in Mississippi,
Alabama, Tennessee and Arkansas with an average annual workforce of approximately
250 physicians.
Dr. Kuebler is Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology and Board Certified in Nuclear
Radiology. For 25 years Dr. Kuebler was in private practice in Mississippi, providing
on site Radiology services at a network of hospitals in 11 counties. He served as
Chief of Medical Staff for two terms at Madison County Medical Center. He was appointed
Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at The University
of Mississippi Medical Center. He served on the Radiation Safety Committee of the
University of Mississippi Medical Center, and he was the Radiation Safety Officer
for University Hospital, Holmes County campus.
Dr. Kuebler served as President of the Mississippi Radiological Society. He has also
served on the Commission of Standards and Accreditation and on the Commission of Small
and/or Rural Practices for the American College of Radiology.
He has been appointed Delegate of the Central Mississippi Medical Society to the
Mississippi State Medical Association's annual meeting. He has served as a member
of the Carrier Advisory Committee for Medicare. He served as a member of The Dean’s
Advisory Committee of The University of Mississippi Medical Alumni Association.
Upon the recommendation of the Mississippi Society of Radiologic Technologists Dr.
Kuebler was appointed to the Council of Advisors for Medical Radiologic Technology
with the Branch of Professional Licensure of the Mississippi Department of Health.
Dr. Kuebler has mentored and supervised Radiologic Technologists to become Registered
Radiologic Assistants. Dr. Kuebler currently serves on the Committee of Medical Advisors
to The Board of Radiology Physician Extenders.
For the past twelve years, Dr. Kuebler has served at LSU as Assistant Professor of
Clinical Radiology and Academic Director of Nuclear Medicine. He regularly provides
Emergency Radiology services as a member of the Radiology Emergency Department rotation.
Dr. Kuebler believes that our residents will become our legacy to the profession.

Dr. Kuebler has made presentations at the annual convention of the Radiological Society
of North America, at The Mississippi Radiology Society, The Society of Mississippi
Radiologic Technologists, and at the annual convention of the Society of Radiology
Physician Extenders.
Clinical Interests
Dr. Kuebler has particular interest in PET-CT applications in Oncology, Neurology,
and Infectious Disease; in Nuclear Medicine evaluation of cardiac and renal disease;
and in radiopharmaceutical therapy for thyroid disease and bone pain. He is also interested
in Chest Radiology and occupational lung disease. He has been certified as a “B”reader
for pneumoconiosis by the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health. He
is also MQSA qualified for Mammography.
Dr. Kuebler has interest in medical/legal issues such as tort reform, informed consent,
patient privacy rights and medical malpractice and professional responsibility of
the legal profession .He has consulted and provided consultation and expert testimony
on numerous medical malpractice cases. He has served as a member of the Appellate
Moot Court Judiciary for Mississippi College School of Law. He authored the dissertation,
“Voluntary Binding Arbitration in Medical Malpractice Dispute Resolution-Has Its Time
Come in Mississippi?”
