Dr. Shannon Powell is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics in the Department of Pediatric Cardiology at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. She completed her Pediatric Residency at Loyola University in Maywood, IL followed by a Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, IN. Subsequently, Dr. Powell pursued an additional year of fellowship in Advanced Non-invasive imaging to further specialize in Fetal Cardiology.

She is board certified in both Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology. Additionally, Dr. Powell serves as the Director for both Fetal Cardiology and the Interstage/Home Monitoring Program.
