Dr. James Krulisky is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics in the Department
of Pediatric Cardiology at Louisiana State University Health New Orleans and practices
at Manning Family Children's. He is a native of Los Angeles, CA and received his undergraduate degree from Ohio
State University in Columbus, OH. He then received his medical degree from Albany
Medical College in Albany, NY. He began his medical career in General Surgery residency
at both Atlanta Medical Center in Atlanta, GA and Washington Hospital Center in Washington,
D.C. before changing to Pediatrics. He completed his Pediatric residency at the Medical
College of Georgia in Augusta, GA followed by his Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship
at LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans in New Orleans, LA. He is board-certified
in both Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology. Dr. Krulisky chose to practice Pediatric
Cardiology because of the unique opportunity to see and follow patients from birth
until adulthood and help treat and guide patients and families through the complex
diagnosis and treatment of both congenital and acquired heart disease. Something extra
about Dr. Krulisky: He is an avid sports fan and enjoys playing and watching all sports
with his four boys. He sees patients at the Manning Family Children's Main Campus as well as satellite clinics in Metairie, Covington, Baton Rouge, Thibodaux,
Marrero, and Diamondhead, MS.
