2015

Caroline Raasch Alquist, MD, PhD is at Dartmouth doing a blood bank fellowship, is AP/CP board certified and plans to return to NOLA to work at Ochsner in Transfusion Medicine. Dr. Alquist and her husband will are the proud parents of new baby Alice.
Theresa Nuttli, MD is at the University of Mississippi in a cytology fellowship and is AP/CP board certified.
Tong Yang, MD is at Emory in a hematopathology fellowship and is also AP/CP board certified.
Sharon Fox, Md, PhD will continue her NIH funded research here in collaboration with Harvard and Boston Children's hospital.
 

2014

Brad Cheek, MD completed a PedsPath fellowship at CHNOLA and AP/CP board certified. He is presently employed by Ochsner as a Pediatric Pathologist.
Kelley Sherling, MD is in private practice with a gastroenterology group in area part time and able to spend time at home with her two children. Dr. Sherling is also AP/CP board certified.

2013

Matt Safley, DO is currently in private practice in Gulfport, MS - AP/CP board certified.

  

Mike LeRoy, MD completed a blood banking fellowship @ Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and a Surgical Pathology Fellowship at MD Anderson in Houston, TX. He is now AP/CP board certified and blood bank board certified.   Presently employed as pathology department faculty with LSUHSC.

2012

Amy Collinsworth, MD pictured with husband Otis and son Eli, is currently doing a fellowship in gastrointestinal and hepatic pathology @ University of Florida College of Medicine Department of Pathology, Immunology and Laboratory Medicine. - passed AP/CP boards  Hired as Assistant Professor in Gainesville.

           

2011

Jeffrey Springer, MD and sons Maximus and Samuel in KY where he has completed a Forensic Fellowship @ University of Louisville and is now employed there.    Passed AP/CP boards and forensic boards. Appointed Forensic Pathology Fellowship Program Co-Director !!

Farrukh Gill, MD with his wife Naveed and children Dani and Noori relax in the French Quarter. Farrukh completed his Cytology Fellow at TUMC and having passed his AP/CP boards is currently employed with Expert Pathologists Pathology Group - Jennie Stuart Medical Center, Hopkinsville, Kentucky.  also Cytology board certified

Kirk Bourgeois, MD (seen on right teaching students) completed a fellowship @ UAB Molecular Fellowship (passed AP/CP & Molecular boards) and  completed a second fellowship in hematology @ TUMC in New Orleans. He is presently employed at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. also  Hematology board certified

Mariclara Torrellas Ruiz is in private practice in Puerto Rico.
