Bio
Dr. Connor currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pathology and the Associate Residency Program Director at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center – New Orleans. She also serves as the Director of Autopsy Services at University Medical Center – New Orleans and assists in the daily clinical operations of the UMCNO Blood Bank. She is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day administration of the pathology residency program in compliance with ACGME, and supervises the autopsy rotation for Pathology residents and fellows. In addition to her clinical duties, Dr. Connor serves as the Pathology Clinical Content Co-Director and Co-Director of the Foundations course at LSUHSC. She is instrumental in developing and implementing the Pathology curriculum and teaches numerous Pathology classes to 2nd year medical students. She is a Fellow in both the American Society for Clinical Pathology and the National Association of Medical Examiners, and is a member of the United States and Canadian American Academy of Pathology.
Recent awards include: Dr. Connor received the 2023 Best New Faculty Award at University Medical Center - New Orleans.
