Andrew Fuson, MD Assistant Professor Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery

Biography

A native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Dr. Fuson received his medical education at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center at Shreveport and completed his Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery residency at George Washington University in Washington, DC. He completed his fellowship in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Birmingham, Alabama.

Dr. Fuson sees patients with head and neck malignancies, as well as upper aero digestive tract, endocrine and salivary gland lesions. He has particular interest in the treatment of oropharyngeal malignancies including the application of transoral robotic surgery (TORS), complex head and neck reconstruction, and the use of ultrasound in the diagnosis and management of head and neck disorders.
