Biography
Dr. Michael D. DiLeo is a native of New Orleans and received a degree in chemical engineering at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and his medical degree at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport. He completed his General Surgery internship and Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery residency at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans. His residency was followed by fellowship training in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction at Hahnemann University Hospital / Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia.
Dr. DiLeo received his board certification from the American Board of Otolaryngology. He has been a member of the LSU Department of Otolaryngology as an assistant clinical professor since 2007 and a member of the Lake Physicians Group. Dr. DiLeo’s clinical practice focuses on head and neck cancer surgical oncology, endocrine surgery, facial trauma surgery and microvascular plastic and reconstructive surgery of the head and neck
