Ms. Katherine Diodene Will Serve as Associate Dean for Fiscal Affairs

We are pleased to announce that Katherine Diodene, MBA will serve as Associate Dean for Fiscal Affairs.

Ms. Diodene received her MBA from the University of New Orleans. She has worked at the school since 2005 serving as Business Manager for the Section of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and the Alcohol Research Center, as Assistant to the Dean, and as Director of Fiscal Affairs for the Dean’s Office and the Office of Alumni Affairs. Additionally, she has taken on the role of interim business manager for multiple departments when needed. Ms. Diodene has a detailed understanding of the school’s financial processes, administrative operations and policies, and budget reporting. She has worked closely with the University administration, as well as served as a valuable resource to business managers, department heads and faculty.

Ms. Diodene understands the challenges we face and is committed to improving our budget and administrative processes. Her dedication to the school has been evident for many years, and we are fortunate to that she has agreed to serve in this important position. We look forward to working with her to advance the missions of LSUHSC School of Medicine.
