Bio

Dr. Wiseman grew up in rural Louisiana and attended Loyola University in New Orleans.  She graduated from the University Of Virginia School Of Medicine, and completed her residency training at the University of Missouri Columbia in Family Medicine, where she was a Chief Resident.  Dr. Wiseman enjoys teaching and is currently Vice Chair of Medical Student Education. She serves as Clerkship Director of Family Medicine and course director of second year medical school courses in Nutrition and also Diabetes (DIME).  Her clinical interests include nutrition, behavioral change, mental health, and school health.  She has been the medical director of a school-based health center in Jefferson Parish since 1999.
