Expanded Genetic Counseling Services:
- We welcomed two skilled genetic counselors to our team, bolstering our ability to provide personalized counseling to patients and families.
- These counselors offer expertise in risk assessment, test interpretation, and compassionate communication, ensuring that individuals facing genetic conditions receive comprehensive support.
- They are also given gratis teaching positions at LSUHSC helping expose our student, residents and fellows to this aspect of Genetics.
