in addition to satellite locations in Covington, Baton Rouge, and Hammond. While his
career is clinically focused, he enjoys balancing the complex medical care of children
with clinical research and teaching. In addition to teaching Pediatric residents and
subspecialty fellows from a variety of fields, he teaches medical students both in
the lecture hall and at the bedside. A highlight of his work involves bringing clinical
immunology concepts to the lecture hall in the LSU School of Medicine, giving lectures
and leading team-based learning exercises each year in the Micro 100 course for first-year
students. He also participates in interprofessional education involving students from
all six schools within the LSU Health Sciences Center. His clinical and research interests
include inborn errors of immunity (IEI) and genetic syndromes which have increased
risk for infections. Dr. Wall has been active in several clinical trials centered
on the treatment of immunodeficiencies. He is a participant in the Primary Immunodeficiency
