Dr. Shubho Sarkar is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at LSU Health Sciences Center, New Orleans, practicing at Children's Hospital New Orleans as a Pediatric Hospitalist. He earned his MD from Tulane University and completed his pediatric residency at Wake Forest University. In addition to being board certified in Pediatrics as well as Hospital Medicine, he also holds board certification in Clinical Informatics. He currently serves as the Associate Chief Medical Information Officer at CHNOLA and is passionate about Informatics as demonstrated by him having received numerous certifications and awards, including the "Healthcare Innovation 40 under 40" honor. His contributions span across clinical practice, medical education of students and resident trainees, as well as research. Dr. Sarkar is also actively involved in the community, enhancing the lives of hospitalized children through his involvement with Funny Bones Improv.
