Dr. Colleen LeBlanc is a Pediatric Gastroenterologist at Manning Family Children's
in New Orleans and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Louisiana State University
Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. She completed her medical education at LSU
Health Sciences Center Shreveport. She pursued her Pediatric Residency at Children's
National Hospital in Washington, DC, and went on to complete a Fellowship in Pediatric
Gastroenterology at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Since joining LSU Health
New Orleans as a faculty member in 2019, Dr. LeBlanc has taken on several key roles.
She serves as the Program Director for the Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellowship at
LSU and co-directs both the Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal Disorders (EGIDs) Clinic
and the Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Clinic, both of which align with
her research interests. Dr. LeBlanc is also part of ImproveCareNow, a consortium dedicated
to enhancing care for pediatric IBD patients. In addition to her clinical and research
responsibilities, she actively works with first and second-year medical students in
the CSI 101/102 & CSI 200, Houses Program.
