Dr. Lammi is a pulmonary and critical care physician who specializes in the care of patients with pulmonary hypertension (PH) and those with autoimmune-related lung disease, particularly scleroderma. He is the Director of the Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA)-accredited Comprehensive Pulmonary Hypertension Center at University Medical Center, which is a collaboration between LSU and Tulane providers. He is actively involved in national committees through the PHA and the American Thoracic Society. He has received external grants from NIGMS, the Department of Defense, and the Scleroderma Foundation for his research program, which is focused on the early detection and treatment of pulmonary hypertension in scleroderma patients. Dr. Lammi is also actively involved in clinical trials, both in PH and scleroderma. Additionally, he is also the Associate Program Director for Research in the Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship program.
