Bio
From the early 1980's through 2002, I practiced at Touro, after leaving Craig Hospital
in Colorado. I served as medical director for Touro Rehab Center. I have had Boards
in PM&R, Pain Medicine, Spinal Cord Injury , and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. While
I worked with residents and students, it was in a private setting.
Upon the departure of my predecessor, Joe Biundo, I was asked by the Dean and the
Chancellor at that time to serve as Acting Section Chief. I was happy to fill in,
anticipating about 6 months until they found a real "card carrying academic" Chief.
While it was a steep learning curve, I felt myself energized, with much to impart
in this new role. One year led to the next, and here I continue to enjoy the role
almost 20 years later as of this writing. I hope I have been as good for the task
as it has been to me.
