Bio
After completing her Infectious Diseases training at LSU, Dr. Lillis joined the faculty at LSUHSC. Under the mentorship of Dr. David Martin, she conducted studies on the role of Mycoplasma genitalium in cervicitis and a couples study investigating the transmission of Bacterial vaginosis associated bacteria between sex partners. She has worked with Dr. Stephanie Taylor on numerous clinical trials and pharmaceutical trials initially at the Delgado STD clinic and now at the LSU-CrescentCare Sexual Health Center. She enjoys collaboration on STI-based research studies with scientists and clinicians across disciplines and institutions. She spends the majority of her time at the LSU-CrescentCare Sexual Health Center conducting clinical research and engaged in patient care. She also enjoys the several weeks a year she spends covering the LSU Infectious Diseases consult teaching service at University Medical Center.
