Bio
Dr. Ziada is originally from Sudan in east Africa. He completed his residency in Internal
Medicine and a fellowship in Infectious Disease at LSU Health Science Center in New
Orleans and he felt in love with the city and the people here. He then joined LSU
faculty to continue teach and train residents. Given his background of practicing
medicine in a place where advanced medical resources are often not readily accessible,
Dr. Ziada is very passionate about teaching physical examination skills, clinical
reasoning and decision-making. He is a full-time faculty member in the section of
Hospital Medicine and a part-time Infectious Disease physician. Dr. Ziada is board
certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease.
