Bio
Dr. Modica is a native New Orleanian who has stayed close to his roots for most of
his life. A Jesuit High School graduate, he studied biological engineering at LSU
in Baton Rouge. After returning to New Orleans to complete medical school, he stayed
at LSUHSC for his residency and then served as chief resident in 2017-2018. Following
his chief year, he jumped at the opportunity to remain on the LSU faculty to continue
clinical education of students and residents primarily at the bedside as a hospitalist
