Bio
Dr. Stibbe completed his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Biomedical Engineering at University of Michigan in 2010. He completed a master's in medical sciences at Loyola University Chicago while simultaneously planning for medical school and completing duties in device innovation at Nexeton Biomedical, an LLC startup he co-founded to continue device therapeutic research for fistulizing Crohn's disease together with his Michigan counterparts. He graduated medical school at University of South Florida in 2015, where he continued training to complete his residency in Internal Medicine at USF in 2018. He pursued fellowship in Gastroenterology at LSU Health in New Orleans and joined the faculty in 2021 at the rank of Assistant Professor. Dr. Stibbe has interests in small bowel disease, pancreaticobiliary disease, advanced/interventional endoscopy, and device design.
