Dr. Bachhuber is a primary care physician board-certified in Internal Medicine and Addiction Medicine. He currently serves as Chief Medical Officer of Louisiana Medicaid at the Louisiana Department of Health. His clinical, research, and policy interests include improving treatment of people with substance use disorders, the organization and delivery of health services, and health technology assessment.
