Bio
Dr. Pramilla N. Subramaniam, is a Professor of Medicine, in the Section of Cardiology at LSU Health Sciences Center. She completed her undergraduate training at UNO, and received her MD degree from LSU. After an internship and residency in internal medicine, she completed her cardiology fellowship training at Ocshner Medical Foundation and joined the staff at LSU in 1983. She has been involved in teaching of the students, residents and fellows and in patient care both at University Hospital/Charity Hospital as well as at Lindy Boggs and now Ochsner kenner. Her expertise is in interventional cardiology. She has been involved in multiple community projects with specific attention to heart disease in women.
