Bio
The major interests of the Cutler lab are the immunology, biochemistry, and physiology of Candida albicans, as they contribute to the pathogenesis of infection. Our principle focus has been on the cell wall carbohydrate, and practical outcomes of our research include the development of a vaccine to prevent infection, and therapeutic antibodies that may be used to treat disseminated infections.
