Please join us for the Dr. Robert S. Daniels Distinguished Lectureship in Medical Education on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 12noon in the MEB Lecture Room A. Dr. Stuart Slavin will be the keynote speaker to discuss medical student and resident wellness. Dr. Slavin will discuss the mental health of medical students and residents and share the comprehensive restructuring plan for the four-year undergraduate medical curriculum that he implemented at St. Louis University, and the programs he developed to help students deal with the stress of medical school.
Dr. Slavin is a professor of pediatrics and associate dean for curriculum at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine (SLU). He received his B.S. degree from Haverford College, his M.D. degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine, and his M.Ed. degree from the University of Southern California.
