CME Learning Objectives – To gain knowledge and understanding of the:

  1. Global epidemiology of AIDS and HIV infection;
  2. HIV-associated diseases that are still prevalent in sub-Saharan Africa;
  3. Research opportunities in studying HIV-associated malignancies, neurological diseases and co-factors that affect HIV disease progression in sub-Saharan Africa; and
  4. Effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on sub-Saharan Africa and their patient populations.
