Donald E. Mercante, PhD, earned his doctorate in Statistics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute (Virginia Tech) in 1990. He is Professor and Director of Biostatistics in the School of Public Health with research interests that include clinical trial design, experimental design, multivariate permutation procedures, and correlated data methods.
